I had the pleasure of photographing Baron William during his trip to Newport. He is a huge Dark Shadows fan and went to visit the mansion where the opening scene was filmed. We went on a photographic adventure and had a great time creating these photographs. As much as I love photographing weddings, it does refresh my eyes to work on something new & different!

I’d like to share this article I came across today with both my vendor friends and any bride out there who is looking for a photographer. I know how expensive weddings can get. I understand that. I think these days, weddings are too much about the “show” and impressing everyone with the most expensive venue you can get, 6 hours of open bar, $300/plate meals, etc. Please consider this: What good is the $50k venue with crap-tastic pictures? What good is $5k worth of uplighting if your photographer doesn’t have the skill to photograph it properly?

Photography is a gift you give yourself and your future legacy. It’s cliche, but true: Photo & Video is the only thing left. Shouldn’t a real value be placed on that? I like to think so. And I think AFTER the wedding, a bride will understand the true value of what a skilled professional photographer did for her, her husband, her family and her legacy.

Ok…so here’s a first for me….I’ve never made an “inspiration board” but there were a few weddings in 2009 that really “inspired” me enough to make a compilation of detail photos.

This was Amanda & Brian’s wedding at Linden Place in Bristol. The flowers and decor are by Jeff & Company

Yay! A new featured wedding! This time, I’ve been published in the Boston Knot Magazine, Spring/Summer 2010, on newsstands now! Thank you Oana & Michael for having me for your beautiful wedding! It was honor to spend the day with you!

It’s that time of year again! NOW is the time to order pictures in time for the holidays.

I’ll be working extremely hard all through the months of November and December to get everyone’s gifts out to them on time. This means lots of 15 hour days behind the computer. I’m no stranger of long hours and hard work, but I need everyone’s cooperation with the deadlines.

Below are the deadlines. Please plan accordingly. Rush fees will apply if you order past the deadline.

PORTRAIT CLIENTS:

If you have already been photographed, your deadline is Sunday, December 6th. ($75 RUSH FEE for orders placed after December 6th. No exceptions.)

If you want to schedule a new portrait session in time for the holidays, you must have an appointment scheduled on or before Friday, December 4th. Your proofs will be ready by Friday, December 11th. I will need you to order by December 15th in order to be ready in time. If you don’t order by December 15th, you will be subject to a $75 rush charge. No exceptions.
