I just got back from Mariana & Gorty’s beach wedding. Mariana was an absolutely beautiful bride. We got in lots of portraits of her before the ceremony. Bridal portraits are my favorite parts of the day.

Gooseberry was the perfect setting for their wedding. Plus, Goose has a special place in my heart, so I love love love shooting there. I have my little spots there I love using and I’ve been looking forward to photographing Mariana and Gorty in them all summer!

Mariana got ready at Pearls of Newport, a boutique hotel on Pelham Street in downtown Newport. They have lovely gardens and great rooms with lots of character. Pearls is a great place for bridal prep photos. There’s lots to work with there. Plus, they really cater to brides and weddings!

Malloi, Mariana’s band, rocked the place all night! They even gave in to the “ONE MORE SONG” chants at the end of the night and played the ladies a little “It’s Raining Men”. Very fun!

I loved the blue and teal themed candy bar with blue rock candy and salt water taffy! Edible favors are very much a DO this year!

THANK YOU for having me!! It was an honor to be apart of your day and I LOVED my 2.5 minute commute home. =) =)
