I really love seeing the finished books. It’s so much more rewarding that always looking at digital versions on a computer screen! The first image is the cover, and the rest are the inside pages. I’ll be sure to snap a photo of the book when it comes in…it’s going to be 10×15 inches of pure beauty!!!

Amanda & Kevin were married at the Belle Mer Island House. Finally….some sun this summer!!! Kevin is from Bermuda so their guests were treated to authentic Bermuda Rum Swizzle! You must try if you ever make the trip down there! Kevin’s brothers gave a great toast that incorporated his Bermudian upbringing. It was so entertaining! I can’t remember the exact words, but they got all the guests repeating after them. It was everything a toast should be: loving, entertaining, humorous and engaging. I love the photographs of Amanda in the gate…definitely going to be on my Top Favorites of 2009! I also covered a bit of their after party at the very exclusive 41 North. Amanda truly planned a great weekend for their family & friends. Thanks for inviting me to document your day! I can’t wait to start work on your album!

A quick wardrobe change at Pearls and then we are off to 41 North for the after party!

Every time I hear a truck on the street, I jump up from my chair to see if the FedEx man has a package for me. Just about every day, I’m receiving albums. Seeing the books is so rewarding for me as a photographer. I’m typically drowning under mountains of digital files that need to be processed. So to see a beautiful, finished book is GREAT!

I’m so EXCITED about my recent switch to album companies back in September, and everyone who’s seen them is very impressed as well.

I’ve been making a ton of white albums with a accent stripe. This is a really popular choice! The white & brown is hot–I’ve made 2 of these color combinations already.

Another white album. This is a 12×12 square. That’s a big book! I only carry BIG albums.

Mila and Joe had a super fun wedding in September at the Belle Mer Island House. Mila was like a perfect model for me. I had so much fun photographing her fashion portraits before the ceremony.
